Nationwide's Recommend a Friend scheme allows existing Nationwide current account holders to refer their friend to Nationwide and earn £100 both in return. The friend needs to switch their current account using the 7 day switch service to Nationwide (full switch - close old account with the bank moving from) and transfer over 2 active direct debits during the switch to be eligible for the offer.
How Nationwide referral program works
Exsisting Nationwide customers can refer their friends to the building society by switching their existing current account with another bank to one of Nationwide current accounts (FlexAccount, FlexDirect or FlexPlus) and bringing at least 2 active direct debits on the account over. If the switch is successful and the terms have been met, Nationwide will credit both the referring friend's and the referred friend's account with £100 within 30 days of the switch completion. Limit: max 5 invitation per tax year = max £500 referral bonuses a year.
